Hello, I'm Ross,
a Full Stack Web Developerworking for Addtobag
in London, UK
My name is Ross Ewing,
I work in all areas of web development from front-end and back-end development, UI & UX design and branding.
I graduated from Northumbria University in 2011, where I achieved a first class honours degree in BSc Web Design & Development.
I have worked for a range of different brands such as EasyRoommate.com, Reapit, SEGA, Sports Interactive, Football Manager and Lyle & Scott.
I am now the founder of Add to Bag, an e-commerce development company.
Gympad was a custom weight training notepad that I created after my own experiences with weight training and the need to track my sessions.
The notepad was designed and developed by myself. I sourced a supplier from Japan to print 500 units which I then sold via Social Media and the popular sports supplement website DiscountSupplements.co.uk.
GymSpot was a social platform for exercise enthusiasts to share their progress photos, whether that was weight training, running, and swimming.
This project was purely for fun so I could gain some experience with designed mobile applications and as well as diving into the Swift programming language.
FindStudentDigs.com was a project I started in 2008 whilst studying at Northumbria University in Newcastle. The project enabled me to learn programming outside of University.
In 2011 as part of my university dissertation I looked at building a property portal with the aim to improve search engine positioning via search engine optimisation.
A collection of videos and photos from my travels over the years.
